Susan Rybin is an award-winning actress, teacher, talent manager and entrepreneur. She
started acting at the age of 6 and began her professional career at the Puerto Rican
Traveling Theatre in New York. She is the only child artist to have won the Bronze Medal of
the Academic Society “Arts-Sciences-Lettres” of France for her portrayal of Anne Frank in
“The Diary of Anne Frank” and in 2006 received the Silver Medal recognition for her acting
career. Some of her many stage credits are” Labors of Love 2002′′, “Three Calla Lilies”
(A.C.E. Best Actress Award), “No Problemo Amigo” and “El Mandatario Idiota”. Her film and
TV credits include “Power Episodic – Starz”, “Police Brass” with Carroll O’Connor, “Rosa
and the Executioner of the Fiend” and website recipes for Goya Foods. Among her
extensive list as best actress awards are HOLA, A.C.E & Woman of the Year “El Diario”. She
recently received A.C.E and HOLA Awards for Outstanding Solo Performance as Frida in
“Frida Kahlo: Viva la Vida” in Spanish and the United Solo Festival Award for “Frida Kahlo:
Long Live Life” at Theatre Row. And recently appeared as the role of Beatriz Lima in the TV
episodic “Law & Order SVU”.
She also earned a special recognition from the Association of Latin Entertainment Critics
of New York (A.C.E) for her 30 years as a performer and founder of Rybin Talent
Management and Rybin Studio of Drama, and a “Golden Age Award” for community service
from the renowned organization, The Latino Center on Aging, among many others and
recognition from Promesa, the Mayor of NYC for Hispanic Heritage Week, NY Housing, and
The Arts Council.
